Verna Brennan Verna is a transplant to The Shoals, Alabama from Kentucky. She moved to Sheffield in 1972. Verna is a divorced mom of four daughters and grandmother to seven. She attended college at Western University in Kentucky. Verna has been employed with L & L Services for the past thirty-four years and her current position is Vice President. She is a member of Chief Colbert Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Daughters of the Seventeenth Century, member of the Business Council of Alabama, Chair of the Colbert County Tourism Board, Chair of the Food Bank of Northwest Alabama, Chair of the Tennessee Valley Art Association, past Chair of the Northwest Alabama Easter Seals, and Vice President of Sheffield, Alabama Kiwanis Club. She is also a licensed Funeral Director and now serves as City Council Representative for District 5, City of Sheffield, Alabama.
